Got this from 's journal. Yes, I've done my first written meme, and now I'm addicted. Anyway.

I happened to have J.R.R. Tolkien's first installment of the Lord of the Rings story, The Fellowship of the Ring, beside my bed. So, here we go.

You see, though still bound by desire of it, the Ring was no longer devouring him; he began to revive a little. (...)'

Riveting conversation between Gandalf and Frodo, some years I think before the latter left the Shire. Not a bad book.
