Sam's Sword

The second sword I did for . I'm not pleased that I didn't do as well as I could /and probably should/ have, but I really wanted it done and this is all I could think of.** Despite this fact, I still like it; the seahorse turned out better than I had hoped (yes, I have low expectations ), and I think the color blends...well... or something....**

So anyway, she left me with two requests for the weapon: 1) she wanted a katana; 2) she wanted "blue". I deduced she wanted blue since she's a water elemental, and decided to play off of that -- specifically, I wanted a seahorse for the hilt (I had complained that katanas are one of my weak points since the design typically shows little originality outside of the guard). So I'm happy to say I pulled that off. As for the katana.... Well, I realize it looks a bit more like a saber, but I'll take what I have. So, it's a katana. >: P**

[EDIT] I slimmed the blade a bunch and lined the hilt a bit more "properly", achieving what I'm labeling an all around improvement.

Details on the drawing shall be left omitted. Mwahaha.
